Unfortunately the Mazda M5OD found in many of the 87-96 F-150’s doesn’t have near as much support as the ZF5. But, we are trying to change that. We are now offering a replacement billet knob. Since the factory shifter using splines, we include a slip on adapter with set screws to install it. This extends the overall shifter length roughly 1.5-2”
