Our shifter mounted cup holders are the perfect way to add some cup holders to your 1st gen Dodge Ram. Utilizing factory mounting locations make these an easy install!
The smaller insert will fit a standard size soda can, while the larger one will fit about anything else up to a 32oz Nalgene. Certain drinks fit a bit awkward in the larger insert due to the step down design. If you have this issue be sure to check out our XL-insert
As much as we wanted to make one model work for both trucks, there were to many issues and we had to make 2 separate models for automatic and manual transmissions. These should fit any of the 1st gen Dodges that are 4x4 as both styles mount around the t-case bezel. Automatics are perfect fit with no sacrifice to seat travel.
Which model do I need?
You’ll notice we have two models. Auto and manual, while we may later change this because it can be confusing, those are currently the model names. Notice this pictures, the “manual” extends further towards the seat and has an optional tray. While the “auto” mounts further up and has no space for a tray. (So if you try to add a tray to the “auto” version it will not let you check out) So, that being said. The autos WILL NOT work on manuals as the shifter will contact. However, the manuals can work on autos. Just keep in mind, you lose almost all forward seat travel if you have a bench seat.
As for manual transmission, we have confirmed it will fit the NP-435 4-Speed. You will block the top insert in the lower gears though, so keep this in mind before ordering. It will also fit a Getrag 5 speed with no shifter contact issues. Keep in mind with the manual versions the overall cup holder sets further back, and with a standard bench seat you will limit seat travel to only around 1-2”. Offered in raw steel or satin black powder coat. Keep in mind that sense these are on a build to order basis, it is possible for powder coating to add up to 2 weeks to your lead time. This varies greatly, so if you are curious please reach out!
